Where can I take the exam ?

This exam is taken online, so you can be at home or at work anywhere in the UK, as long as you have access to a quiet room where you will not be disturbed. 

How does the course work?

On purchase, you will be sent login information for your online Personal Licence Holders Course, where you will be able to study and work through a quick and easy online training course.

What will I need to take this Exam at home?

You will need to have a good understanding of the English language and have basic IT/ knowledge as the course is online-based. You will also need;

  • A computer/laptop with a webcam and microphone (Macs and Windows are compatible)
  • A smartphone with a camera and microphone
  • A quiet room where you will not be disturbed during your exam.
  • A valid form of photo ID, such as a passport

You cannot use a Tablet. 

How can I book my Exam?

Once you have completed your training, you will be able to book your exam using the calendar of availability on your account. There are often slots the next day. The cut off point for next day exams is midday. Example: it's 11:30am on Monday, so you are likely to find availability for Tuesday. It's 12:30pm on Monday, you are going to find availability for Wednesday. 

Would I need to bring any Identification on the Exam Day?

Yes -  When attending your Personal Licence Holders exam, you must arrive on time, at least 15 minutes early and you must have a valid form of Photo ID available, such as a driving licence or passport.

What are the rules during the Online Exam?

If you are late for your exam for more than 20 minutes
If you cancel or want to reschedule within 3 working days of the exam date
If you do not test your equipment prior to the exam to check if everything is working
If you do not have a stable internet connection and the connection is lost throughout the exam
If someone walks into your exam room
If you answer their phone
If you do not have your ID with you
If you do not have or are not able to turn on the webcam, microphone, and screen share
If there is any mismatch in your details with the details provided by your centre
You refused to show the test environment to the invigilator
If you have joined in with an unsupported device (i.e. tablet)

In case test conditions are not met e.g., you join from a crowded environment and cannot change location, you do not follow the invigilator’s instructions, you talk or interact with someone during the test and/or are seen using other tabs during a test even when you are told not to by the invigilator

If you have disconnected during the test and did not re-join the session.

What happens if I do not pass the exam?

If you were not successful for any reason or need to reschedule your exam, you will be charged a retake fee of £80.00.

What is the availability for exam slots?

Monday to Friday

Between 09:00am &- 6:00pm 

 

Saturdays

Between 09:00am - 12:00pm

What happens if I do not attend my exam?

Failure to attend your exam without at least 72 hours notice will result in paying our retake fee of £80.00

When will I know if I passed the exam?

Exam results will be available immediately on your screen once the test has finished. If you passed your exam, you can expect to receive your certificate within 1 working day by email as an e-certificate. We do not issue paper certificates for this exam.
