The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) was introduced to the UK’s construction industry to ensure that labourers working on construction sites had the required understanding and training in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment and to make sure that they acquired the right qualifications for the work they do.
Contractors and construction companies are increasingly demanding from workers who enter sites to hold a CSCS card. The purpose of the CSCS card is to demonstrate that the worker is informed about key issues on safe working practices. Therefore, having a CSCS Labourer card is your chance to enter the construction environment.

Having a CSCS Card projects confidence and an employer is usually happy to offer employment on this basis.
