Child Protection CPD Awareness Training Course

The Children Act 1989 sets out in detail what local authorities and the courts should do to protect the welfare of children. In 2008, the Government announced a new strategy to promote the safety, health and progress of children and young people.

This course provides an overview of child protection acknowledging that there is no single piece of legislation that covers child protection in the UK, but rather a multitude of laws and guidance that are continually being amended.

Course Delivery:

These courses have been designed for groups consisting of a minimum and a maximum of 12 delegates in attendance only. The course can be delivered at your workplace or at an alternative venue of your choice. Courses are designed by our experienced and professional trainers and can be written to be delivered in 2, 4 or 6-hour detailed workshops.
