Everything You Need to Know - Traffic Marshall CPD Course

The Traffic Marshall course will give you a qualification as a Traffic Marshall with a CPD
certificate.

An identity card will also be issued that will confirm that you have attended the course and that you have proved your competency in the activities of a Traffic Marshall.
Although the certificate that will be issued will not expire we always recommend that training is renewed on a yearly basis so that a candidate is kept up to date with any current
changes to practise.

This qualification is an excellent entry into the safe practise of vehicle movement within the construction industry and can be taken alongside other qualifications
and certifications to give you a greater appeal to employers.

This particular certification will give holders an advantage when it comes to acquiring jobs within construction as it will prove their competency in this specific area. Another
requirement for work on the building sites and within the construction industry will be the CSCS card which should be another qualification that is undertaken.

The Traffic Marshall course could be considered an excellent choice for somebody who wishes to prove but they have been tested in and awarded a qualification that demonstrates
their competence in managing traffic as well as heavy goods vehicles on a building or other industrial site.

The course will give you the training to confidently manage and redirect traffic on a building site and will be accepted on this or other working sites. Banksman training (the official name for traffic marshalling in this setting) will help you master the basics of the duties expected of a Traffic Marshal such as the specialised hand signals that are used by a Traffic Marshall to communicate with and direct vehicle drivers on the working site.

When you take the Traffic Marshall course you can be confident that the qualifications that it provides you fully satisfy the legal requirements that are needed for organisations who need, by law, to follow
the regulations and standards laid down by the Health and Safety Executive.

  • The course will consist of the following:
