The Learning Station offers courses and training to young people & adults with Special Educational Needs (S.E.N). We support and provide vocational learning and life skills training for Young people and adults in order to empower independence so that they are able to live freely within their community as independently as possible. Special Educational Needs What is SEN? Special Educational Needs are diverse. Below is a list of attributes the may be found In a student with SEN:
  • emotional and behavioural difficulties – making friends or relating to adults or behaving properly in school
  • specific learning difficulty – with reading, writing, number work or understanding information
  • sensory or physical needs – such as hearing or visual impairment, which might affect them in school
  • communication problems – in expressing themselves or understanding what others are saying
